Craif Started a New Joint Study with Kyushu University for Colorectal Cancer

Craif (Location: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Ryuichi Onose, hereinafter referred to as “Craif”) has signed a new joint study agreement with Kyushu University (Location: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka, President: Tatsuro Ishibashi). With the conclusion of this agreement, Craif will begin joint research with Kyushu University Beppu Hospital (Kohshi Mimori, Professor at Department of Surgery) and Kyushu University Hospital (Eiji Oki, Associate Professor at Gastrointestinal Surgery) to establish a monitoring system for the early detection of colorectal cancer and elucidate resistance mechanisms to colorectal cancer immunotherapy.

■ Outline of the study
This study aims to establish a monitoring system using comprehensive miRNA profiles for high-risk case selection and early detection of colorectal cancer, and to elucidate the mechanism of resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors in gastrointestinal cancer patients.
