Handling of personal information
Personal information is information about a user’s individual, and means that the user can be identified by the name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, school name, and other descriptions that constitute the information.
Even if that information alone cannot be identified, it can be easily compared with other information, and as a result, personal information that can identify the user is included in the personal information.
The purpose of using personal information
The purpose of using personal information is as follows. It will not be used beyond the purpose of use.
・Opinions and inquiries to our company, confirmation of job applicant information, and answers
・Provision of information to companies using this service based on the user’s consent
Provision of personal information to third parties
We do not provide personal information to third parties without the consent of the user in principle. We will provide the information only after obtaining the consent of the user after specifying the provider and the information provided. However, in the following cases, personal information may be provided without the user’s consent, as long as it does not violate the relevant laws and regulations.
・If the user determines that it will be detrimental to a third party
・When it is particularly necessary to improve public health or promote the sound development of children, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the user
・When there is a need to cooperate with a national agency or local public entity or its commissioned person in performing the statutory stipulations, and when obtaining the consent of the user may interfere with the execution of the business
・When a court, public prosecutor’s office, police or an agency with similar authority requests disclosure of personal information
・When the user him/herself explicitly requests disclosure or provision to a third party
・When disclosure or provision is permitted by law
・When personal information is provided in connection with the succession of business due to a merger or other reason, and it is handled within the scope of the use purpose before the succession
Outsourcing of personal information processing
We may outsource part or all of the handling of personal information. We are responsible for the handling of personal information at the contractor.
Use of statistically processed data
We may create statistical data that cannot be identified based on the personal information provided. For statistical data that cannot identify individuals, we can use it without any restrictions.
Changes in personal information
In principle, only the user him/herself can require notification of the “purpose of use of personal information”, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of registered personal information, suspension of use, suspension of provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “changes in personal information”). Please contact the personal information management contact below for specific instructions. However, in the following cases, personal information may not be changed.
・When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property or other rights or interests of the user or a third party
・When violating other laws and regulations
In addition, when a large amount of cost is required to change the personal information, or when it is difficult to change the personal information, and when we have alternative measures necessary to protect the rights and interests of the user, we may not respond to changes of personal information.
Also, original documents such as postcards used to acquire personal information are stored for a period of time and then discarded, so requests for the original documents themselves are not eligible.
Restriction on obtaining sensitive personal information
We do not collect personal information including the following contents in principle. However, this does not apply if the user has provided it him/herself.
・Matters concerning thought, creed and religion
・Race, ethnicity, gate, place of domicile (excluding information about the prefecture where you are located), physical and mental disorders, criminal record, and other matters that cause social discrimination
・Matters concerning workers’ right to organize, collective bargaining and other collective action
・Exercise of petition and other political rights
